A visual journey on resilience, climate adaptation, and sacred ties to the Brahmaputra on Majuli, the world’s largest river island. It’s a story about those who stay. About people who live in rhythm with the river, who adapt quietly and steadily, even as the ground beneath them disappears.
Photographer András Zoltai spent five years documenting the lives of the Majuli community, with the help of the Carmencita x Kodak Professional Europe Grant.

The “Best Of” started as a straightforward concept to show what film photography is capable of. This is a tribute to all the hard work behind every film image, from the photographers to the film manufacturers, from the lab technicians to those who repair our cameras.
