This book contains carefully photographed kimono for children, which have been kept at Shinseiji Temple in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture, since the Edo period (1603-1868), and are filled with prayers for children and good health. Through the carefully repaired kimonos, we can sense the culture of cherishing things and the love that parents have for their children in each kimono.
